  1. I think Napoleon had a good impact on France, because he did a lot to bring it together after the revolution. One of the major things he did was win many battles for France, boosting the sense of nationalism in all the citizens. He also made many reforms to make the people of France all equal, such as making jobs open to all talent, building a system of public schools, and giving peasants back the rights to the land they bought during the revolution.

  2. I agree with Gabi, I think Napoleon was good for France, because he was much liked by the people, and he did good for them after the Revolution and the Reign of Terror. He did make people more open to things such as having their own jobs and their were much less deaths by purpose of human. He also treated everyone in different classes equally to each other, and they respected him much.

  3. I feel like even though napoleon ended on a bad note he was still a good influence on france. Im sure France would agree that they'd rather have a period of time in which they were on top of the world then not have one at all. After all not to much harm befell france after Napoleons reign. They did go back to a constitutional monarchy, but king louis let them keep their rights they won during the revolution. Napoleon also expanded french borders and created a legacy. He made france wealthy and gave them a new set of enlightenment ideas to live under which play a part in frances modern day government. Regardless of whether Napoleon was good or bad for france he certainly left a large impact

  4. I think Napoleon was good for France. I think Napoleon was good for France because he conquered alot of places. The places he conquered were the places his armies were able to spread the ideas of the French Revolution. Napoleon was a big help to France. He did as much as he could. Napoleon installed new republican governments, abolished titles of nobility, ended church privledges, and spread the Napoleonic code. Napoleon changed France. There was no longer any harm in France. His reign changed France and help France become a better place.

  5. I think that side from the end of his rule, Napoleon was good for France. He introduced reforms, helping the citizens, and conquered other countries so that France had more money and power. He also spread the Napoleonic Code, which was good for other countries as well. The only way in which he was bad for France was that he lost most of its army while attacking Russia so when other countries attacked France couldn't protect itself and ended up losing.

  6. I think Napoleon was good for France, despite how his reign ended. After the revolution France was in turmoil and Napoleon helped to create a strong, stable enviornment in France. Napoleon spread his own code throughout Europe when he conquered other countries. By extending his empire throughout Europe he enabled France to become very rich and powerful. This boosted the nationalism in France, and as a result he was very well liked. Even though Napoleon lost against Russia, he had a large impact on France. During, and after his reign.

  8. I think Napoleon was good for France because he believed in liberty, equality and democracy. Also, he gave the people in France the freedom to believe in whatever religion they wanted. Napoleon was an advocator of freedom of religion and speech. Napoleon also tried to spread liberty and equality across Europe, and created the Napoleonic Code - a civil code which is still used as basic law for many democratic countries in the world to this day. These are all reasons Napoleon was good for France despite the end of his reign and some bumps along the road.

  9. Napoleon was great to France gor the following reasons. The main reason is that he made a lot of big reforms that helped stabalize France. Napoleon clearly believed in equality because he made it so jobs are open to all talent, not who you know or how rich you are, even if your the poorest person you can get the top job as long as your qualified. He didnt just do good for France. He conquered many other countries and spread his Napoleonic code through out Europe, which also helped other countries. However he had some faults in his leadership, his biggest one being the massive fail at Russia where he only cam home with 10,000 troops. But in the long run Napoleon was great for France and Europe.

  10. In my opinion, Napoleon had a good impact on France for many reasons. Napoleon enforced equality and freedom in religion. He opened up jobs to anyone in any social class, opened public schools, and gave rights back to the peasants. Napoleon also gave France a lot more nationalism. He gave a lot more power and land to France as well. Although he lost many of his troops and came back from Russia with only 10,000 troops out of his starting 40,000, napoleon made a big impact on France during his reign being emperor.

  13. I think that Napoleon's impact on France was good. He helped bring France together after the revolution and he showed the people of France how great they could be if they wanted to. He changed hundreds of peoples opinions about religion and equality. He opened up new jobs for so many more people no matter how rich or poor they were. He really changed the social system and raised everyone's nationalism. Even if things ended badly for him, he still showed everyone a whole new and better way of life!

  14. I believe that Napoleon was a good impact on France. First of all, he stopped the revolution. After he did that, he helped to bring France and the French people together. Napoleon was very charismatic and that was good for the people of France after have kings like Louis XIV and Louis XVI. Even though it didn't end well, which was sort of bad for the people of France, the overall affect on France that Napoleon left was a good one

  15. In my opinion, even though Napoleon ended badly I think that he was good for France. He helped bring people together after the Revolution that hurt France very badly. For one thing, he won many battles that truly helped bring the citizens of France together and left their spirits. He helped them move forward and fix the problems and the damages that the Revolution had made. He also built new schools for the children and opened up new jobs for almost every sort of talent there is. And even though in the end he didn't do so well, he he helped everyone in France get back onto their feet.

  17. i think napoleon was good for France. he added a lot to the map of France and he made it bigger and stronger.he won many battles and was well liked by the people.he got rid of all titles of nobility and spread the word of the Napoleonic code.i can see why people would think he was bad for france though because he ran his kingdom mostly like a monarchy. he left little choice to the citizens as to if he gained power or not.
